1. The Validation Engineer is responsible to make sure that the required tests per project phase are completed, test results are reviewed and reported, and the release recommendation is given.？Plans, monitors, and controls all test activities across the allocated resources for this project.？Responsible for the test activities of the global engineering product and represents testing towards the customer.
2. Coordination of the various test teams in the release processes.
3. Central customer interface with respect to the entire product testing.
4. The Validation Manager is a project manager for a testing project covering all test activities across more than one Domain (e.g., Software Validation Manager, System Validation Manager). Depending on the project size it can be decided that the role is instantiated and covered by several people.
