职责描述:
We are currently seeking an ambitious Business Analyst to join our pControl Product Delivery Team. Our Team has a global footprint with team members in China, Hong Kong, London, Edinburgh and Kolkata.
The role will be assigned to change initiatives dependent on current demand and priorities at the time. Initiatives will include the on-boarding of new business wins, the building of new business models in conjunction with Product to support internal business or external market driven initiatives, re-structuring of existing client business, re-engineering initiatives driven by industry changes and internal projects / initiatives, as well as supporting existing Clients change. Once we have Projects completed, the Team also provides ongoing BAU Support.
As well as working with our Clients and various third parties, our Team works closely with Product, IT, system platform teams, operations and other key stakeholders across HSBC.
The Opportunity:
The role will support and understand structures, operations, processes, product and service offerings, policies and systems as part of the Global Product Delivery Team that then enables HSBC Securities Services to provide services to our Clients.
Business analysis allows the business to make the right choices in the changes it executes. The discipline identifies needs, captures and analyses requirements and contributes to the assessments and recommendations of options available to ensure the right solution is identified, agreed and progressed.
What you’ll do:
• Elicit requirements using interviews, document analysis, requirements workshops, surveys, site visits, business process descriptions, use cases, scenarios, business analysis, task and workflow analysis.
• Critically evaluate information gathered from multiple sources, reconcile conflicts, decompose high-level information into details, abstract up from low-level information to a general understanding, and distinguish user requests from the underlying true needs.
• Proactively communicate and collaborate with external and internal customers to analyse information needs and functional requirements and deliver artefacts as needed
• Utilize experience in using enterprise-wide requirements definition and management systems and methodologies required
• Drive and challenge business unit and customers on their assumptions of how they will successfully execute their plans
• Leverage strong analytical and product management skills required to gain a thorough understanding of how to interpret customer business needs and translate them into applicable operational requirements
任职要求:
1. Being able to communicate fluently in English is a must, as the role holder will need to work with diverse stakeholders across geographies.
2. A high quality degree level education – highly desirable
3. Possession of a relevant business analysis qualification – desirable
4. A professional project management qualification (eg Prince2) or Agile development qualification (ACP) – advantageous
5. Significant operational experience in financial services, specifically fund accounting, investment operations or middle office processing
6. Demonstrated experience in business analysis roles
7. Experience of working in a large scale change environment
8. Knowledge of pControl and/or Icon / Geneva / Markit /Multifonds at an SME level or Application Change perspective – advantageous
9. Experience and working knowledge of systems implementation lifecycle and testing methodologies – advantageous
